สามารถบรรเทาอาการปวดเกร็งในช่องท้องได้ แต่ในการเลือกใช้ยาควรพิจารณาเรื่อง ความปลอดภัยในการใช้ยา เช่น มึน งง ความดันต่ำ ปากแห้ง ตาพร่า โดยเฉพาะ ผู้สูงอายุดังนั้นการเลือกใช้ Mebeverine น่าจะเหมาะสมมากกว่า
